This piece was a direct result of reading Katherine Hayles' book titled "How We Became Posthuman: Virtual Bodies in Cybernetics, Literature, and Informatics." Katherine's theory in her book was a response to the trope of technology becoming sentient and overthrowing humanity. My concept explored the idea that technology has the potential for enlightenment and is ever evolving alongside humans.
